Position: Business Development Manager (BDM)
Department: Business Development / Sales

Experience: 3–8 years in Facilities Management / FM industry
Reports To: Head – Sales / Marketing
Job Purpose
To drive business growth by acquiring new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and achieving revenue targets in the Facilities Management sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and industrial FM segments.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service presentations to clients.
- Negotiate contracts, finalize agreements, and coordinate with operations for service delivery.
- Achieve revenue and growth targets set by management.
- Attend networking events, industry conferences, and exhibitions to promote services.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for client onboarding and service support.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in business development or sales in the FM / Facility Services industry.
- Proven track record of acquiring clients and meeting sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of FM services: housekeeping, security, technical maintenance, etc.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and reporting tools.
