Position: GEM Portal Tender Executive
Department: Procurement / Bidding / Business Development
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 1–3 years in government tenders / GEM portal operations
Reports To: Procurement Manager / Business Development Head

Job Purpose

The GEM Portal Tender Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end tendering processes on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal, ensuring timely submission of bids, compliance with tender requirements, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and identify relevant tenders on the GEM portal.
  • Prepare and upload tender documents, proposals, and required certifications.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for technical and financial inputs for tenders.
  • Ensure compliance with tender eligibility, terms, and conditions.
  • Track tender submission deadlines and status updates.
  • Maintain records of bids, submissions, approvals, and correspondence with authorities.
  • Assist in preparing clarifications, corrigenda, and responses to tender queries.
  • Support management in analyzing tender opportunities and bid strategies.
  • Maintain knowledge of GEM portal processes, updates, and government regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience handling GEM portal tenders or government procurement.
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes, tender documentation, and compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and online tender submission tools.
