HVAC Technician

Position: HVAC Technician
Department: Technical Services
Location: Hyderabad
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal climate control and energy efficiency in the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioners, chillers, AHUs, VRVs/VRFs, and ducting.
• Conduct preventive maintenance schedules to ensure smooth operation and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and components.
• Monitor HVAC performance, airflow, and temperature to meet client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company protocols.
• Maintain logs of service, maintenance, and repairs.
• Coordinate with other technical teams for integrated facility operations.
• Handle refrigerants, gases, and related tools safely according to regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in commercial, industrial, or facility management environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, air handling, and ducting.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
• Awareness of safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency calls if required.
