Position: IBR Certified Welder

Job Purpose
Perform welding on boilers, pipelines, and pressure vessels in compliance with Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR), ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety, and adherence to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute welding on boilers, IBR pipelines, and pressure vessels according to IBR standards.
- Perform butt, fillet, and groove welds on pipes, tubes, and plates in multiple positions (1G–6G).
- Follow approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), IBR codes, and engineering drawings.
- Ensure weld quality with proper pre-heating and Post-Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) where required.
- Coordinate with fitters and inspectors for fit-up checks, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and hydro testing.
- Maintain accurate IBR documentation and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Valid IBR Welder Certification (Regulation 609).
- Skilled in SMAW, GTAW, TIG/MIG welding processes.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IBR fabrication and boiler/piping projects.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, quality assurance, and documentation procedures.
