Maintenance Manager

Position: Maintenance Manager
Department: Operations & Maintenance
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: Minimum 10 years in facility management, industrial or commercial operations
Reports To: Maintenance Operations Head

Job Purpose

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all maintenance activities across the facility to ensure optimal functioning of equipment, infrastructure, and services while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, and other facility equipment.
• Supervise maintenance teams including electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other technical staff.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, SOPs, and operational workflows.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers for procurement and maintenance services.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure equipment reliability and facility uptime.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, reports, and asset registers.
• Implement energy-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in facility management, industrial, or commercial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems.
• Proven experience in managing a team of technicians and supervisors.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards, compliance, and preventive maintenance best practices.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
