Security Guard

Position: Security Guard

Reports To: Security Supervisor

Job Purpose

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets by maintaining vigilance, monitoring access, and responding promptly to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points, verify ID cards, and control access.
• Conduct regular patrolling of premises to ensure safety.
• Observe and report suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Maintain visitor records, vehicle logs, and security registers.
• Assist in fire safety, emergency evacuations, and first aid support when required.
• Safeguard company assets and prevent theft, vandalism, or trespassing.
• Follow security protocols and report daily activities to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Security Guard (preferred).
• Physically fit with good alertness and discipline.
• Basic knowledge of security equipment (CCTV, scanners, metal detectors).
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
• Good communication skills (basic English/Hindi/Telugu language).
• Must be willing to work in shifts (day/night).
